ANI accuses ChatGPT of scraping content from its subscribers

Asian News International (ANI) told the Delhi High Court that OpenAI’s ChatGPT is not only taking content directly from the news agency’s website but also scraping content from ANI’s subscribers, according to Bar and Bench.
ANI’s counsel advocate, Sidhant Kumar, submitted the case before Justice Amit Bansal. Advocate Kumar argued that the AI model is infringing copyrights by taking content from the agency’s subscribers, citing the example of a news article from the Economic Times, a subscriber to ANI’s services.
