Resonate Broadcasting lists 11 regional Queensland stations for sale
By staff writer in Media News on Monday, 07th April 2025 at 1:28pmResonate Broadcasting is putting 11 regional radio stations across seven Queensland markets up for sale, covering nearly 39 per cent of the state’s population, according to Mumbrella.
The portfolio includes stations such as 4CCC in Charleville and 4GC in Charters Towers, aligned with Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit and Triple M networks.
Founded in 2008 by Rex Morris and Guy Dobson, Resonate acquired the stations over several deals with Macquarie Media. Their Hawaiian stations are not included in this sale.
Morris, now Triple M Sydney’s content director, said the decision to sell comes after 16 years at the helm. “At the end of the day, we’ve been doing this for 16 years… it’s time for us to sell, and we’ve got other things we might like to explore in the future,” he...
