Rahul Kanwal steps down from India Today after 22 years

Rahul Kanwal has resigned from his roles as News Director of India Today and Aaj Tak and Executive Director of Business Today, marking the end of a 22-year tenure with the India Today Group.
The company notified the Bombay Stock Exchange of his departure on Thursday, stating that Kanwal is stepping down to pursue new opportunities, according to ET Brand Equity.
In an internal email to employees, Kalli Purie, Vice Chairperson and Executive Editor-in-Chief of TV Today Network, acknowledged Kanwal’s contributions, highlighting his impact on political coverage, election analysis, and investigative journalism.
