Mediaweek reported that The New Daily will soon integrate into Solstice Media’s portfolio. Solstice’s subsidiary, Motion Publishing, will acquire the newspaper and close the acquisition by mid-December.  Solstice Media managing director Paul Hamra highlighted the significance of The New Daily’s role in independent journalism and its potential to strengthen Solstice’s network of news and lifestyle platforms. Amid operational challenges over the past year, The New Daily implemented staff cuts across editorial, commercial, and production roles.
