MIB cautions TV channels against live coverage of anti-terror operations

This advisory comes in the wake of extensive coverage of the ongoing anti-terrorist operations in the Kathua and Doda districts of Jammu on June 11 and 12.
In its statement accessed by Influencing India, the Ministry reiterated the importance of complying with Rule 6(1) (p) of the Cable Television Networks (Amendment) Rules, 2021. This rule imposes restrictions on live coverage of anti-terrorist operations.
