AAP to close agricultural round in October

Australian Associated Press (AAP) will close its philanthropically funded agricultural round in October, as confirmed by Liv Casben, AAP's agricultural specialist, in a LinkedIn post. Casben expressed sadness over the closure, stating, "It’s been a privilege running the desk, and knowing these stories are being read across Australia in hundreds of different publications." She also thanked Andy Drummond for his leadership and indicated she is now seeking new opportunities. Casben's journalism career spans nearly three decades, with experience in prestigious newsrooms including the BBC and ABC.

With the nation yet to recover from the shocking rape and murder of the young medico at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital while she was on duty and the Malayalam film industry rattled by allegations of sexual assault against some of the most influential directors and actors, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assertion that crimes against women are unpardonable and need to be dealt with an iron hand can only be reassuring. Hit Network's Mike E & Emma show, currently airing on 104.1 2DayFM, will move to a new time slot starting today. The show will broadcast nationally from Monday to Thursday nights, 7 pm to 10 pm, and during the weekend breakfast slot from 8 am to 10 am.
