BARC India and Nielsen unveil cross-platform ad measurement tool

Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India and Nielsen on Monday launched BARC | Nielsen ONE Ads, a cross-media measurement solution designed to provide unified advertising measurement across digital and linear platforms.
According to StoryBoard18, the new system merges BARC’s linear TV viewership data with Nielsen ONE Ads’ digital measurement, providing a deduplicated view of audiences across screens. According to the companies, the framework addresses the need for a single-source measurement of advertising performance.
Nakul Chopra, CEO, BARC India said the system delivers cross-screen insights, while Akhil Parekh, Chief Product Officer at Nielsen said it provides advertisers with a single deduplicated view of campaign performance.
