Australian freelancers dominate MEAA’s 2024 NT Media Awards

Their in-depth reporting on the Northern Territory's school system led to a $1 billion funding boost for education and earned them the title of 'NT Journalists of the Year'.
The team also won awards for Best Feature Writing, Best Online Coverage, Indigenous Affairs Reporting, and the Pete Davies Memorial Campaigning Journalism Award. Photographer Rebecca Parker was recognised in the Visual Storytelling category.
