Veteran journalist Pradip Chakraborty’s demise an 'end of an era'

The demise of veteran journalist Pradip Chakraborty, has left entire Tripura journalism fraternity mourning. He was 74- year-old.
A senior journalist and one of the strongest pillars of Dainik Sambad, he was widely respected for his grassroots reporting and commitment to public-interest journalism.
Throughout his career, Chakraborty highlighted the struggles of people living in rural and remote areas of Tripura. He also mentored several young journalists in the state. His passing is being seen as the end of an era in Tripura journalism landscape.
