Today’s Ten: More voters, fewer exit polls mark Maharashtra, Jharkhand polls

Voters came out in huge numbers in Maharashtra’s battle of the alliances Wednesday where the turnout, according to data available at 11.45 pm, crossed 65.1 per cent — the first time since 1995 when the state witnessed a turnout of 71.69 per cent. In Jharkhand, where the JMM-led alliance is battling the BJP-led NDA bloc, the turnout was 68.45 per cent.
