Sammy J to wrap up five-year run on ABC Radio Melbourne Breakfast

After five years, Sammy J is stepping down from ABC Radio Melbourne Breakfast, with his last show set for Friday, December 13, according to Mediaweek.
Starting just before the COVID-19 pandemic, Sammy J quickly became a cherished voice for Melburnians during lockdowns.
Reflecting on his time, Sammy J shared, “Hosting Melbourne Breakfast was an unexpected opportunity that became an unexpected joy. But radio demands all of you and deserves nothing less, and after five years, I’m ready to trade the 4:15 am alarm for more regular hours.” He hinted at future revelations, leaving with pride and gratitude.
