Salary issues paralyse New 2UW

Station operator and co-owner David Sayers said the station was $80k in arrears and he had been working to find new investors that could help the station continue paying the wages.
The staff who stopped going to work include acting station manager/EAD Entertainment managing director Steven Pickett, music pundit Mark Tinson, and ex-ABC Radio host Carol Duncan. The station went live in October last year and is still on the air.
Pickett expressed hope that Sayers and his wife Lyn would find a way to pay up without the station having to go under.
