New editors named at The Age

Current SMH/The Age business editor Mathew Dunckley is moving up as digital editor. He has been at The Age since joining as editor of the BusinessDay section in 2014 and stayed on after the sale to Nine.
David King will be The Sunday Age’s new editor. He is coming from The Australian, where he served for 15 out of the past 20 years, from copyboy and cadet journo to deputy editor for news and most recently, Victorian editor.
Debbie Cuthbertson takes up The Sunday Age’s deputy editor spot. She is a seasoned hand at The Age, having been there for nearly all of the past 17 years, with her positions including deputy online news editor, chief of staff for online, iPad night editor, and s...
