Maha govt to set up media monitoring centre

With an estimated budget of Rs 10 crore, the centre will analyse media reports, generate data-driven insights and counter misleading information about the government. According to a Government Resolution issued on Wednesday, the initiative follows a proposal from the Directorate of Information and Public Relations.
