Karina Carvalho joins 7NEWS Melbourne

Seven News has announced the addition of seasoned journalist Karina Carvalho to the 7NEWS Melbourne team. Carvalho will take on a dynamic role presenting and reporting from the field.
Starting Monday, August 5, Carvalho will present Seven Melbourne’s Afternoon News at 4.00 pm. She will also co-present weekend editions of Melbourne’s 7NEWS alongside Mike Amor from Saturday, August 10, while Rebecca Maddern is on leave.
Carvalho said she was delighted to join the 7NEWS team and contribute to the network's ongoing success. “Melbourne is and always has been the nation’s most engaged audience for news and sport, so to be a part of the Seven newsroom here is an honour,” she stated.
