The Q3 FY26 numbers tell a story that’s more interesting than the headline “steady quarter” suggests. Yes, India’s print industry didn’t collapse. But it didn’t exactly sprint either. What we’re looking at is a sector in transition, not stability — as reflected in the Q3 earnings reported by Exchange4media, Financial Express, and company filings.
Take HT Media. Revenue rose 1.4 per cent year-on-year to Rs 496.61 crore in Q3 FY26, even as losses widened. The real shift came from digital, which grew 29.5 per cent YoY to Rs 66.67 crore, according to the company’s stock exchange filing and coverage by Exchange4media and Business Standard.
