Accreditation row: Desk journalists protest in Telangana

The protest was organised under the banner of the Desk Journalists Federation of Telangana (DJFT), with a large number of journalists staging a dharna in front of the I&PR Commissioner’s office at Masab Tank in Hyderabad, Telangana Today reported.
Several journalist associations extended solidarity to the protest. Addressing the gathering, DJFT President Jyothi Basu and General Secretary Mastan demanded a substantial increase in the number of accreditation cards.
