Despite eroding trust, YouTube emerges as most preferred news platform in Weber Shandwick's new India report

Conducted by YouGov, a British international Internet-based market research and data analytics firm, the survey included 1,000 respondents from India’s top 10 cities, offering a detailed look at how different generations engage with news and elections. Notably, there was also a Reuters report discussing the correlation between misinformation and trustworthiness of media channels published on 17th June 2024. The key findings of the survey included:
