Daily Beast cranks up Aussie operation

The Daily Beast is expanding its Australian team, recruiting for a Deputy Editor to join Australian Bureau Chief, Matt Young.
The former News.com.au Night Editor, flipped across to the Daily Beast in 2022 initially as its Night Editor before becoming the Australian Bureau Chief in April last year.
"One year ago, we embarked on a new adventure at The Daily Beast with the launch of the Australia Bureau," Young posted to LinkedIn. From Trump’s wars to his ailing health, to the heinous red carpet looks, we’ve covered it all with the Beast’s distinctive style and voice," he wrote on Linked In last night.
"I’m so proud of what we have achieved in such a short time, and I'm excited to announce that we are expanding".
