Climate change the big 2025 topic says Nogrady

“We're now hearing that society is nudging 1.5 degrees of global average temperature increase, which is above pre-industrial levels and was the goal that the Paris Agreement tried to help us avoid reaching,” Nogrady said.
“The impact of that will start to make itself felt, but it also means that humans need to ramp up our mitigation efforts, stop burning fossil fuels, and strive very hard to get to net zero emissions.”
Other topics Nogrady foresees making headlines include the impact of the Trump Presidency on science and tech industries, cancer vaccines and the effects of long Covid.
