APR Tanks Strengthens Market Presence with Acquisition of Maxiplas Assets

Announcement posted by Topknot Management 16 Oct 2024

APR Tanks, a division of the family-owned APR Manufacturing Group, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of the manufacturing and brand assets of Maxiplas Tanks following their insolvency in 2023.

The strategic move marks a significant milestone in APR Tanks' vision to become a leader in the South Australian tank industry since its inception in 2021.

APR Tanks, known for its innovative approach, impeccable reputation, and commitment to quality, offers a premium range of water storage solutions engineered to exceed Australian standards. With the addition of Maxiplas Tanks' assets, APR will expand its product range and enhance its ability to serve both direct customers and the reseller market with unparalleled quality and service.

"Our acquisition of Maxiplas' assets represents a key step in our journey towards expanding our reach within the tank industry," said Ryan Lokan, CEO of APR Manufacturing Group and APR Tanks.

"It allows us to leverage our state-of-the-art manufacturing capabilities and deep industry expertise to provide an even broader array of products to our customers," he adds. "Whilst we will still continue with the existing Maxiplas branding, customers can expect to tap into APR's stellar reputation for customer service and attention to detail."

As a result of this acquisition, APR has introduced a new division, APR Water, which focuses on water conservation and sustainable water storage solutions. This division aims to meet the growing demand for efficient water management systems, further positioning APR as a formidable player in the water tank and conservation industry.

"Collectively our team boasts over 200+ years of experience within the tank market," says Ryan. "The two brands will certainly cement APR as a leader in the industry moving forward."

Manufactured at APR's facility in Adelaide's North, both APR and Maxiplas branded products maintain the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The facility, which employs over 50 locals, will continue to utilise APR vetted and approved local contractors for services, upholding the group's commitment to supporting the local community and economy.

Additionally, with Maxiplas' strong history of servicing rural and regional-based customers throughout South Australia, the acquisition enables APR Tanks to further strengthen its presence and reach in these crucial areas, ensuring continued access to premium water storage solutions across the state.

This acquisition not only strengthens APR Tanks' market position but also enhances its capability to meet the evolving needs of Australian consumers with a commitment to excellence and innovation.
