Sydney, NSW - Sept 19, 2024 - Rising underground hip-hop artist Decaf is set to release "2PILLS," the lead single from their highly anticipated debut album, WHO IS DECAF, on the 2nd of October 2024. This powerful collaboration features the hypnotic voice of Cherry Rype on the chorus and dives deep into the complexities of mental health, and the process of moving forward into a more stable, healthy lifestyle.
"2PILLS came to me as a rare moment of clarity, the other songs I had wrote for the album at that time had been about taking substances, and indulging in those darker thoughts, but I found myself being able to really see clearly for the first time in a while."
"Facing battles with mental health for a long time, I find it takes a lot of courage, and hard perseverance to really take those steps that you know you need to, actually taking the medication you're prescribed, looking after yourself, going to bed on time, what seems like the mundane for the average person can be a huge uphill battle, I want listeners to be able to find hope in this song and find that strength themselves."
