OMG Decadent Donuts Raising Funds and Awareness for Gotcha4Life

They'll be raising some 'dough' throughout their network of independent businesses around Australia from donut sales from World Donut Day on 7 June until Sunday 9 June and are dubbing it GotchADonut Day.
In the spirit of community and friendship, to raise funds and to bring awareness to the importance of mental fitness and suicide prevention, OMG! Decadent Donuts will be donating $5 for every box of 12 donuts sold.
Founder of OMG! Decadent Donuts, David Moore said "The origins of World Donut Days is all about giving and helping others, but like so many things it has been commercialized. We're wanting to bring back that sense of kindness and giving and with more than seventy independent OMG! Donut business owners throughout Australia, we are really hoping everyone gets behind this so we can make a difference to Gotcha4Life".
With nine Australian lives lost every day to suicide, and 3.3 million Australians having serious thoughts about taking their own life at some point, Gotcha4Life's mission of inspiring people to take action to build their mental fitness has never been more important.
Funds raised through GotchADonut Days will support Gotcha4Life programs which help build emotional muscles, strengthen social connectedness, and encourage help-seeking behaviour in individuals, families and communities to create a future free of suicide.
Gus Worland, Founder of Gotcha4Life said "We champion the idea of mental fitness, building the social and emotional muscle, and the resilience required to deal better with the challenges that life throws at us.
Zero suicide, that's our vision. Simple as that. I want a society in which everyone has a Gotcha4Life mate. That go-to person who you can open up to and rely on and talk to about anything. A world where we seek help when life gets challenging. Where we can build open and honest relationships and feel comfortable expressing ourselves, no matter what.

About World Donut Day
World Donut Day first started way back in 1938 to help raise funds for returned soldiers from WW1, many of whom suffered ongoing PTSD and mental distress. So, it's the perfect day for OMG Decadent Donuts to launch GotchADonut Day for national suicide-prevention charity Gotcha4Life.
