Radical Inclusion: Lessons from Burning Man FINALIST! 2023 Focus on Ability Short Film Awards Australian Documentary Section

I’m writing to let you know that my documentary film on Radical Inclusion at Burning Man is a finalist in the NOVA Employment 2023 Focus on Ability Short Film Awards.

My film is based on a research trip last year where I attended the annual Burning Man event in the Nevada Desert and camped with Mobility Camp which supports Burners with and without disability to participate in  the creativity and diversity that the magical event has to offer.  

Focus on Ability http://www.focusonability.com.au/ is designed to encourage filmmakers to focus on the ability of people with disability. This year they’re celebrating 15 years of doing just that! There are over $100,000 worth of prizes for the winners – including most online votes - and voters go in the running to win $50 iTunes vouchers.
