Allied Health in Rural and Remote Areas

The team at The Health Hub are delighted to notify you that we are now offering telehealth services across psychology, occupational therapy and speech pathology to support the growing need for services in rural and remote areas. With the launch of the services, we have immediate availability for referrals.

With our telehealth services we can minimise the challenges and burdens patients encounter, such as availability and or distance related to traveling for specialist care. With many allied health, and in particular psychology practices currently overbooked our dedicated telehealth resources enable timely support for rural or remote patients.

At The Health Hub we use a secure web-based telehealth portal which is designed specifically for allied health professionals, patients just need a computer or phone with internet access.

Telehealth works extremely well for children, adolescents and adults, so please don’t hesitate to talk with our team if you have enquiries about our practitioners or suitability for referrals.

The Health Hub team can work with patients across a variety of payment and claiming options for their Telehealth Therapy, depending on their health cover or how they are funded across Medicare, private health funds or NDIS plans.
