We draw on our extensive experience and network of influencers within the media, corporate and government sectors to deliver agreed objectives. Todd Hayward is the Director of Telamon Consulting. Todd is a communications and stakeholder engagement specialist with 20 years’ experience at the intersection of media relations, public policy and corporate affairs. He has held a succession of senior roles within the media, government and corporate communications sectors, and he has helped a variety of organisations successfully navigate some of the country’s highest-profile crises, issues and debates. For five years Todd was a senior consultant at corporate advisory and issues management firm Cato Counsel, providing strategic communications advice to a broad range of clients managing business-critical scenarios including mergers and acquisitions, structural change programs, court proceedings and regulatory affairs matters. The role typically involved the development and implementation of issues management strategies, government engagement plans and executive media and presentation training. During eight years in senior government roles, Todd was a Principal Media Advisor to former NSW Premier Morris Iemma and a Chief-of-staff to Ministers in the Health, Environment and Climate Change portfolios. Todd is a former Program Director and reporter at Radio 2UE in Sydney. For four years he was a writer and producer for influential commentator Alan Jones. Todd specialises in providing sound and timely advice to executive leadership teams on all facets of stakeholder communication and engagement. He maintains excellent relationships with a network of federal and state politicians and bureaucrats, news editors, journalists and commentators.
