About Us

JobWatch is an independent, not-for-profit employment rights community legal centre supporting workers in Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania with their rights at work. We are committed to improving the lives of workers, particularly the most vulnerable and disadvantaged. Established in 1980, we are the only service of our kind in Victoria, Queensland and Tasmania. Our primary activities include our Telephone Information Service, our legal practice, our law reform work and community legal education. We support over 16,000 workers across the country every year with their rights at work, so we are in a unique position to understand new and emerging trends in employment law and its impact on everyday workers.
