Veteran presenter Sharyn Ghidella departs Channel 7

A seasoned journalist and veteran Channel 7 presenter, Sharyn Ghidella, has left her role after working for 17 years, B&T reported.
In a long social media post, Ghidella shared her experience with the broadcaster stating that though she was “somewhat saddened” by the decision, she also felt a “sense of relief”.
“It wasn’t quite how I expected it to end at Channel 7. I was actually sitting at the hairdressers for work, when I got the call informing me, that after 17 years with the network, my time was up,” Ghildella wrote.
