Tony Armstrong announces departure from ABC News Breakfast

Tony Armstrong has announced his departure from ABC News Breakfast, with his final show set for October 4, just under two weeks away.
According to a B&T report, Armstrong hinted at a potential return as a guest in the future in a heartfelt message to viewers. "I’ve been pretty nervous about doing this,” he admitted while expressing deep gratitude to his colleagues, behind-the-scenes team, and the audience.
“I love live TV and the unpredictable moments where anything can happen. I’ve been fortunate to work with an incredible team, and the friendships I’ve made are what I’ll cherish most,” he shared.
