Time Out Sydney editor Nick Dent promoted; hopeful of more Australia print editions

Nick Dent has been promoted to Time Out’s newly formed ‘Group Editor’, which will see him leave his current post as Time Out Sydney editor next year.
Dent (pictured), who has been at the magazine since July 2010, will oversee the expansion of the Time Out brand across Australia. He told Influencing that he’s hopeful that the Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane Time Out brands, which are currently digital-only, will have a print edition at some point.
“My new role will be looking after the Sydney and newly-launched Melbourne Time Out magazines, as well as looking at expanding the Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth brands too - with a view to other magazines, and bringing Time Out to more distributors,” he said.
