Cameron Craig launches A Signature Story

By Will McLennan in Media News on
“I think there’s an opportunity to leverage the experience that I’ve had working for companies such as Apple and Amazon to help all kinds of businesses, whether they be startups or more mature businesses, to help craft their narrative,” Craig told Influencing. He said one of his primary objectives for A Signature Story is to help Australian businesses succeed internationally. “My ideal goal is to help Australian businesses to do better on the world stage, by having a story that resonates with people globally.  Craig said he was partly motivated to hang up his own shingle after publishing an article in the Harvard Business Review called What I Learned from 10 Years of Doing PR for Apple. “I was sitting on that for a few years and I know there’s great interest in how to tell an Apple-like story - lots of companies wanted to learn how to story tell like Apple and I’m uniquely positioned to do that having worked for Apple globally.” Encouraged by the success of hi

By Pragadish Kirubakaran in Media News on
Arvind Kejriwal's sudden decision to resign as Chief Minister of Delhi has sent political waves across the city. In a move tied to the excise policy scandal, Kejriwal's exit has left a leadership vacuum, soon to be filled by Atishi Marlena. This development has been covered extensively across major publications, each highlighting different angles of the unfolding political drama. According to Gayathri Mani of The Indian Express, Atishi has been a staunch Kejriwal loyalist, stating that her sole focus is to bring Kejriwal back as CM. This sentiment resonates throughout her public appearances, as she acknowledges her rise as a temporary situation, dedicating her efforts to clearing the AAP supremo's name. The Hindu focused on Kejriwal’s resignation amid the excise policy investigation, explaining how the AAP leader felt stepping down would allow him to take his “agnipariksha” and demonstrate his commitment to transparency. The excise policy case is the crux of the resignation

A “grateful” Simon Sharwood on 500 On Call editions.

By Will McLennan in Media News on
The Register’s APAC editor Simon Sharwood may have hit 500 iterations of his popular ten-year-old On Call column but he reckons it can run for that long again and start bringing in his beer money into his retirement. “I've told my editor that he needs to allocate me some freelance budget for about the year 2034/2035,” Sharwood told Influencing. “That's a timeframe in which I think I might be on the cusp of retirement. And I'd really like to keep doing On Call and make it my beer money gig when I'm retired. If we can keep going with another 500 to get me to a retirement gig, that would be awesome.” Asked how he was feeling about hitting the 500 milestone, Sharwood said it was mostly gratitude. “We run about one in every two or three submissions. So getting to 500 means we've had somewhere between 1000 and 1500 people send us a submission and to trust us to use it as well.” “[There’s] absolute pride as well, to have something run for 10 years and to get to 500 of
