The grand design of the new Grand Designs Australia magazine

It’s been a great week for the Grand Designs brand in Australia, with the second series of the TV show topping the subscription TV ratings and the show listing highly in a Ray Morgan poll looking at Australia’s most loved shows. But arguably the biggest development for the brand is the launch of the Grand Designs Australia magazine, which editor Kate St James says sustains the “quality and content” of the TV show.
“The magazine is independent from the TV show, however, as we use some of the houses (and of course the brand), we work with the producers to ensure a consistency between the two,” she told Influencing.
