The Daily Aus and Nike partner to launch The Training Squad

The partnership aims to provide opportunities for the next generation of aspiring female sports journalists and support them to build a professional identity.
Abbey Wirth, narrative and communications lead at Nike Pacific said the team is looking forward to a “monumental decade” for women’s sport in the Pacific.
“Nike’s mission is to move sport forward and create opportunity for her everywhere you look. It’s not just about who is on the pitch, track or field, but who is reporting on it too.
