At the Sydney Morning Herald and The Age foreign affairs correspondent Matthew Knott writes ('Gaza peace deal to halt bloody conflict') an extensive piece on how we got to where we are and says: "the remaining Israeli hostages will be released from captivity within days and Israel's military presence wound back".
Most of the papers carry the picture front and centre of US secretary of state Marco Rubio whispering in the ear of Donald Trump at a live Presidential event to let him know an agreement has been made after days of tense ...
