Stokes famiily back in charge at Seven

The Stokes family has Channel Seven back.
Kerry Stokes son, Ryan, has stepped up into the role of Chairman of Southern Cross Media, the media conglomerate that owns the Seven Network, The West Australian and former Austereo network.
He becomes the fourth Chairman of the group this year, and solidifies the Stokes' families grip on the company, which it effectively gave away in the Seven/Southern Cross merger in February this year.
Stokes is also Chief Executive of SGH Group, which owns construction group Boral, WesTrac and equipment rental firm Coates Hire.
Former Chair Teresa Dyson will continue as a non executive director.
In a statement to the ASX, Stokes said "Southern Cross has outstanding brands, audiences and reach, and a clear opportunity in front of it".
