SPOTLIGHT - Hrishikesh Sharma, multimedia producer at Khabargaon

Beginning his journalism in rural Bihar after a graduation in mass communcation at the Patna Unversity, Hrishikesh Sharma has come a long way covering stories that have made a real impact. His story on the Sharanpur custodial torture of Muslim youth forced the NHRC to look into the allegations eventually leading to the suspension and transfer of police officials involved in the case. He is currently with Khabargaon in New Delhi.
1) How did you get started in journalism?
I started my career in journalism when I pursued my bachelor's in mass communication at Patna University.
