Seven Network announces leadership changes in news division

The Seven Network has announced key leadership appointments, with Chris Salter being named the new Director of News for Seven Melbourne. Salter, who has served as the 7NEWS Adelaide News Director since June 2018, will succeed Shaun Menegola.
In a press release, Seven Network Director of News and Current Affairs and Seven West Media Editor-in-Chief, Anthony De Ceglie, praised Salter's work in Adelaide, where 7NEWS has maintained its #1 status for over 13 years. “Chris has done an amazing job in Adelaide. I’m really pleased that he has agreed to take this new role and I know he is going to make a huge mark on 7NEWS Melbourne as we endeavour to think differently about the future of our platforms,” De Ceglie said.
