SCA announces redundancies amid financial struggles and failed ARN takeover

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) is implementing a round of redundancies today, with affected employees having already been notified by their direct managers. CEO John Kelly informed staff of these cuts in an internal email, seen by Mumbrella.
Impacted are some regional breakfast shows as well as metro 2Day FM, Hit Network and Triple M which will be losing staff including well known and popular presenters like Luke Bona.
SCA CEO John Kelly says the further redundancies for the organisation are to maintain momentum and further position the business for sustainable growth.
Kelly said in an email to staff:
