SBS launches new podcast highlighting South Asian comedians

Stand-up comedian Aditya Gautam is bringing a new podcast, Comedy Karma, to SBS, where he will engage in conversations with some of the funniest South Asian comedians in Australia, according to an SBS media release.
In Comedy Karma, Gautam explores the lives and careers of South Asian comedians, diving into the challenges and successes they've encountered in Australia's diverse cultural landscape. Originally from Delhi and now based in Melbourne, Gautam reflects on his journey to Australian citizenship, recognising the privilege he holds as a straight, middle-class man. The podcast will feature candid discussions about identity, culture, and comedy, with Gautam also encouraging his guests to speak about their experiences as minorities within a minority, including LGBTIQ+ South Asians.
