Sally Sara to host The World Today

Sally Sara is the new host of flagship ABC radio show The World Today, effective August 2020.
She was put into the post to succeed Eleanor Hall, who recently announced her exit after hosting the show for almost 20 years to go to art school.
Sara is one of ABC’s most seasoned reporters, starting with an ABC Canberra internship and moving up to foreign correspondent, working in over 40 countries. She also has radio experience from 2WEB Bourke.
“I started my journalistic career in radio and I’m passionate about it. The World Today provides vital coverage and analysis to our audiences across the country. I’m grateful to follow in the footsteps of accomplished presenters including Eleanor Hall,” said Sara of her appointment.
