Reuters appoints Ashwin Manikandan as Company News Correspondent

Thomson Reuters has appointed Ashwin Manikandan as its Company News Correspondent. He will be writing stories mostly on India's fintech ecosystem and digital economy from Bengaluru.
Describing his new role on LinkedIn, Ashwin posted: "I'll be writing stories on India’s fintech ecosystem and digital economy, among other things from Bengaluru. Super excited to join Dhanya Skariachan and her wonderful team. Feel free to DM me for tips and wishes. I'm also available at Ashwin.Manikandan@thomsonreuters.com."
Ashwin has previously worked as a Staff Writer at The Morning Context and as Principal Correspondent at the Economic Times covering similar beats. He completed his PG Diploma in Print Journalism from Asian College of Journalism in 2018.
