Paws For Thought: New pet PR agency launches

Pet lover and PR professional Louise Lees has launched her own agency, Four Paws PR, to cater to the niche industry which she is passionate about but feels is being neglected.
“I think it’s really important if you are going to specialise in a particular industry that you have a passion for it and also a deep understanding,” Lees told Influencing.
A dog lover, with a pair of West Highland White Terriers, it is no surprise Lees chose to specialize in the pet industry.
The industry ranks 117 out of the 498 industry sectors and is well ahead of wine manufacturing and not far behind copper ore mining. In 2012 Australians spent $46.9 million on Valentines Day gifts for their pets.
