NZ’s Wanganui Chronicle gets a new editor

The Wanganui Chronicle has appointed journalist Mark Dawson as its new editor, who took the position in late April.
Dawson returns to the Chronicle as editor after taking time off in 2012, prior to which he had a 15 month stint as sports editor from 2011.
In a post on the newspaper’s website, Dawson said he was “delighted” to be returning to work in the Wanganui region and is eager to “get out and about in the community and meet local people”.
