NBN submissions go public

Big news in telco land. The federal government has made public over 80 submissions on the regulatory arrangements under the proposed national broadband network. CommsDay had the press machines on overdrive in the last 24 hours. The telco newsletter fired off a 'breaking news' release, telling us the most interest yesterday focused "on submissions from the mystery Melbourne consortium Acacia, as well as global internet giants Google and Skype." The news flash also had a link to the submissions for curious readers.All the usual suspects including the groups from within the telco industry (Telstra, Optus, iiNet, Hutchison, Vodafone and Terria) all made submissions, with Telstra submitting the most documentation, according to Renai LeMay of the Fin, who filed his story yesterday.
