MIS Magazine to close [Updated]

Iconic Australian technology title MIS Magazine has been shut with the group’s technology coverage to be subsumed into The Australian Financial Review’s newspaper and electronic offerings.
It’s the latest print title to lose the battle for survival in the face of declining advertising revenue and editor Brian Corrigan told ITJourno that "advertisers were moving online".
Announcing the closure in a statement, Financial Review Group CEO Brett Clegg said: “We have made the pragmatic decision to focus our technology coverage in our paper and online, rather than concentrating it in the form of a monthly controlled circulation magazine."
