Major shuffle in Brisbane’s radio scene

Brisbane radio is seeing significant talent shifts with former NRL star Corey Oates making a high-profile move to KIIS 97.3 FM, Radio Today reported.
After announcing his retirement from the Brisbane Broncos and NRL in October, Oates joined the Robin & Kip breakfast team for a segment called Find Corey a Job, where he tried out various roles from stand-up comedian to real estate agent. Today, Oates confirmed his new role as part of the rebranded Robin & Kip now with Corey Oates in the morning, debuting in January 2025.
Elsewhere in Brisbane radio, Susie O’Neill is leaving Nova 106.9, with her final show on Thursday, November 28. The station has not yet announced its new lineup. Meanwhile, Corey Parker (former NRL player) will join Ian Healy on the SENQ Breakfast show mar...
