Lizzies Winners: Julian Fell, Gold for Best Journalist
By Will McLennan in Media News on Tuesday, 15th April 2025 at 11:30amThe ABC’s Julian Fell took home the Gold Lizzie at The Samsung IT Journalism Awards, after earlier picking up the gongs for both Best Security and Best News Journalist, thanks to multiple pieces that had required deep investigation.

“Judging by the talented journalists packed on my table alone, tech journalism is alive and well in Australia,” Fell told Influencing.
“While journalism is about more than awards, I think it’s so important that we celebrate the amazing work being done.
“That said, it’s a massive honour to be among such a great bunch of winners.”
