Light FM assumes new name

Melbourne Christian station 89.9 LightFM has started the week with a rebrand as 89.9 TheLight.
Parent firm Positive Media said the station is being angled as “Positive Radio” for increased audience share.
The company tapped radio veteran Wade Kingsley to change the logo to something stylised (pictured) after a church’s stained-glass windows, with the rationale being that the colours represent new avenues to carry The Light’s message, such as smart speakers and audio streams.
