Journalism’s existential crisis; When will newspapers die?

Beecher’s lecture focused on the problem with the century-old business model that supports quality journalism and whether or not quality journalism can survive the internet revolution – meaning a crisis for democracy as a whole. Note: Unfortunately, Beecher misheard the student’s question and thought he said ‘buy’ instead of ‘die’, so I can’t provide insight to his thought here…
