According to a report by The Australian, Blackman, who began his career in the late 1960s, gained widespread recognition for his distinctive voiceover work on the Channel 9 series. He was particularly celebrated for his portrayal of the character Dickie Knee, a beloved figure in Australian culture known for his witty banter with the show's hosts.
